Segment your router or install a new one. If you need a new one, look at. It’s free and will run on most anything. Firewall off that portion of your network and make it private.

That would be best fixed in your router. Block ports used by on-line games perhaps.

So you want to disable internet traffic, but allow local network gaming?
Do they use separate ports to communicate? Perhaps you could only allow traffic to certain ports? If I remember correctly, email and newsgroups use one type of port address, and IRC uses another.
