Why did Sony discontinue backwards compatability with ps2 games on the Playstation 3?
by webmaster on Oct.27, 2009, under PS2
I know that the most recent models do not support ps2 games….I have read that sony said the ps3 simply does not have the power to emulate the ps2 cpu and the ps3′s gpu and still give the user a great gaming experience. Does this mean that my 60gig will be inferior to the current 80gig in terms of gameplay experience?
