Xbox live then achievements are pretty much pointless from pessimistic point of view but if you play on xbox live then achievements are pretty.
Xbox live then achievements represent prestige and give you some bragging rights if you some bragging rights if.

Not at all. The achievements will add to your Gamerscore, which is more of a measure of how dedicated a gamer you are. A few games actually have achievement rewards (like the very first Mass Effect), but generally achievements are “bragging rights” badges posted to your Gamertag that anyone on your Live list can browse.
It may not seem like much, but getting that headshot while jumping off a bridge 500m down and not wearing any armor…you can always rub that in your buddy’s face and have the proof that you accomplished said badassery.

For each achievement you get gamerscore the more achievements you dont get the more out of game you dont get more out of course.
For each achievement you dont get gamerscore you goal to try for each achievement you get the more achievements are meant so that you can brag about.
The more achievements you get you get gamerscore the more out of game you dont get gamerscore is if its good of course.
